This policy explains how HEAL Juice Joint & Cafe (“HEAL,” “we,” or “us”) handles information through this website and its pickup ordering features.
Information you provide
When you submit an order, we collect your name, mobile number, optional email address and ZIP code, requested pickup time, selected products, customizations, special requests, and your permission to receive texts about that order. We keep order status history and payment or refund amounts recorded by staff. Please avoid putting medical records, payment card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information in order notes.
How we use information
We use this information to receive and prepare orders, identify your pickup ticket, communicate about your order, resolve problems, maintain transaction records, prevent misuse, and understand purchasing patterns. Our owner dashboard summarizes popular products, repeat purchases associated with phone numbers, recorded sales, and customer ZIP codes. ZIP and email fields are optional.
Order updates and messages
Your mobile number and consent are used for individual messages about your order, including a staff-sent ready text. This is not enrollment in a marketing list. Automatic SMS and email notifications are not currently enabled. You may ask us by phone or in a reply to stop texting you; staff will handle that request. Message and data rates may apply. Your private tracking link also shows order status. Anyone with that link can see the ticket’s items and status, so keep it private.
Browser storage and technical information
The site uses local browser storage to preserve cart selections, retry an interrupted checkout, and retain your last tracking link. Clearing browser storage removes those copies but does not delete a submitted order from our records. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, browser information, cookies, and logs to deliver and protect the site. The menu may load fonts from an external font provider, which receives the request information needed to deliver those files. Owner sign-in uses ChatGPT authentication; customers do not need that sign-in to order. We do not currently install advertising pixels or third-party marketing analytics on this website.
Service providers and other disclosures
Website hosting and database providers, including OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, process information to operate this service. Individual ready texts also pass through the sending device and mobile carriers. Payments made in person may be processed through Clover under its own privacy terms. This website does not currently accept card details or process online payments. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect customers or our business, or support a business transfer subject to applicable requirements. We do not sell order information or share it for targeted advertising.
External websites
Links to Instagram, Facebook, Google, or other services lead to sites with their own policies. Information you post publicly on those platforms is governed by those platforms.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to fulfill orders, manage business and accounting records, address disputes, and meet applicable requirements. Retention can vary by record type. We use access controls for owner records and private tokens for customer tracking. No website or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You may leave optional fields blank, clear local browser storage, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes. Any additional rights available under applicable law remain in effect. Children
This ordering service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can address it.
